| Steve Crawford became interested in hypnosis after seeing a hypnosis presentation at his own high school. He actually performed his first
hypnosis show while still a senior in high school. He studied psychology and theater in college while continuing to entertain audiences,
earning his bachelors degree from Oklahoma State University. In addition to university studies, he is a graduate of the Silva Method. Steve
has also studied under three hypnotists, including Dr. R. E. Bellows. He is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and a charter member
of the Professional Association of Hypnotists. However, Steve is not the star of the show, nor does he have any “special power” over others. The volunteers from the audience are the real “stars”. Those who volunteer become famous singing stars, super models, and even aliens. They even do the twist in a Chubby Checker dance contest. Participants in Steve’s show walk away with pleasant memories of how much fun and relaxation they experience. In addition, Steve’s program includes an unusual audience demonstration: The entire audience sees Steve’s head grow larger and larger on command. Then, on the count of three, his head shrinks to the size of a grapefruit. His program is truly an unforgettable event! In his school assemblies, Steve Crawford provides a unique, fast-paced, fun, clean program that is educational as well. Important messages are included about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse and the effects on the mind. Strong emphasis is given to withstanding peer pressure and the importance of education.
